On February 1st, 2016, at 1:00 pm, Rob provided a talk on the trip at the Macedon, New York Public Library. An enthusiastic crowd of over 30 seniors attended.
On October 19th, 2015 Rob spoke to the Fairport, New York Historical Society. The talk emphasized the historic links between various stops on the Route 20 trip and local history.
On September 5, 2016, Rob and Carole spoke to the the Rochester Area Tippers (RATS), a association of business leaders in the Rochester area.
On April 7th, 2015, Rob spoke to the MG Car Club of Central New York in Syracuse. The presentation provided lots of tips on travelling (and packing) in an MG.
On November 20th, 2014, Rob spoke at the monthly meeting of the Western New York MG Car Club in Webster, New York. The presentation talked about the trip with an emphasis on the preparation and performance of the MG on the 5,170 mile trip.

On March 8, 2017, Rob and Carole spoke to an audience of students, faculty and community members at Keuka College. Many in the audience were the youngest yet to hear the presentation. Most seemed puzzled by the concept of keeping and driving an old car. In anticipation of that, we added a few slides and comments about why people like vintage cars.
On January 25, 2018 Rob and Carole presented on Route 20 and the While We Still Can Trip to the Pfaudler Lecture Series of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Rochester Institute of Technology. The group of 65 senior citizens proved to be an enthusiastic audience…at least a dozen said they had once owned an MG or other British car. The talk was followed by a lively question and answer period including the usual question (from a lady) about how Carole made it through the heat and lack of luggage without leaving me.
On May 10, 2018, Carole and Rob presented the While We Still Can show to the Torch Club in Batavia, New York. More than 50 club members from Rochester, Batavia, Buffalo, and Erie, Pa. enjoyed the talk and asked many questions about the car and the trip. It is so enjoyable to see the older participants smile as they reminisce about the old road and historic links to the Finger Lakes area. More than one older gentleman had a tear in the eye thinking about British cars they once owned.
AS the COVID pandemic starts to break, we are back in demand. On February 15, 2022 we did our Route20 presentation to 90 people for the Fairport, New York Historical Society. Since we hit capacity, we are repeating the presentation on April 27, 2022.
